He has higher than average health and average deck limits. He has fair mana gains in his three colors, and -1 to the others.

His abilities have a Creature summoning theme, including creating a dragon creature {{Ability|Token}}, {{Ability|fetch|fetching}} multiple powerful creatures from his library with full mana, and giving them {{Ability|Haste}}. Like [[Karn, Scion of Urza]], he can also receive a boost to his bonuses of the colors of a card, but he draws the card rather than {{Ability|Fetch|Fetches}}, and the bonus only lasts turns.

[[Dakkon, Shadow Slayer]] is a white, blue and black formerly human Planeswalker, introduced after June 2022, following the release of the [[Streets of New Capenna]] set.

At release he had the sixth highest health in the game. He has good mana gains in his colors, and average deck limits with a focus on Spells: five Creatures, six Supports, and eight Spells.

Although emergent strategies are possible, Dakkon seems designed to gain large amounts of Loyalty with Blue gems (especially with conversion) and his first ability, ameliorating the high cost of the second and third and hopefully enabling them to be used more often.

It is worth noting that the first 2 levels of One's Vengeance Path bypass both {{Ability|Hexproof}} and {{Ability|Ward}}, but it is unlikely that a player would leave Dakkon unleveled to utilize this aspect. Level 4 of the ability, while losing the aforementioned bypasses, becomes much more versatile in that it can now target friendly creatures. While maintaining most of its offensive use, this now additionally allows for:

-Friendly removal to prolong a match, allowing time to achieve objectives

-Friendly removal of permanently disabled creatures

-Friendly removal to utilize the significant conversion it creates

-Friendly removal to meet exile creature objectives

Note that the effects of the [[#Forging the Blackblade|Forging the Blackblade]] token will not take place if there are no creatures for it to buff. Creatures [[:Category:Weaken|Weakened]] until their Toughness is reduced to zero by Forging the Blackblade do not die until after combat damage is dealt.

[[Nissa of Shadowed Boughs]] is a green elf Planeswalker, introduced in October 2020 along with the [[Zendikar Rising]] card set.

She has higher than average health and average deck limits. She has good mana gains in her colors, a small blue bonus, and small minuses to White and Red.

Her first ability is mostly to be ignored, simply because the other two are so strong; its gem conversion is small, and Landfall is too rare a trigger for the equally small benefits of the Shadowed Boughs token, with many PW abiities of the same strength triggering at the beginning of turn or some such. Her second ability is very adaptable, and makes an excellent setup for the third, simultaneously creating a land support to gain Black and Green gems, and a large clump of elemental {{Ability|Token}} creatures. It can also be ignored on occasion to rush to her third ability, but only if enough black gems are on the board; Green swaps may be prioritized to leave Black on the board, especially if {{Card URL|Gather the Pack}} has already been used. The ultimate makes a support which activates when a creature is cast or killed. On cast, it reanimates creatures, returning them from her graveyard to hand, {{Ability|buff|buffs}} them, gives them mana and gives them {{Ability|Berserker}}. On death, it will give the first creature in hand an additional buff and {{Ability|Reach}}. The buff from her ultimate is relatively large and, if cheap creatures are used, may trigger loop detection, especially if Gather the Pack is used, although it is not a true loop. [[Nissa of Shadowed Boughs]] is a green elf Planeswalker, introduced in October 2020 along with the [[Zendikar Rising]] card set.

She has higher than average health and average deck limits. She has good mana gains in her colors, a small blue bonus, and small minuses to White and Red.

Her first ability is mostly to be ignored, simply because the other two are so strong; its gem conversion is small, and Landfall is too rare a trigger for the equally small benefits of the Shadowed Boughs token, with many PW abiities of the same strength triggering at the beginning of turn or some such. Her second ability is very adaptable, and makes an excellent setup for the third, simultaneously creating a land support to gain Black and Green gems, and a large clump of elemental {{Ability|Token}} creatures. It can also be ignored on occasion to rush to her third ability, but only if enough black gems are on the board; Green swaps may be prioritized to leave Black on the board, especially if {{Card URL|Gather the Pack}} has already been used. The ultimate makes a support which activates when a creature is cast or killed. On cast, it reanimates creatures, returning them from her graveyard to hand, {{Ability|buff|buffs}} them, gives them mana and gives them {{Ability|Berserker}}. On death, it will give the first creature in hand an additional buff and {{Ability|Reach}}. The buff from her ultimate is relatively large and, if cheap creatures are used, may trigger loop detection, especially if Gather the Pack is used, although it is not a true loop. It also adds mana to lands in hand. All of her abilities create {{Ability|Token}} supports, and create or interact with Black and Green gems. N5 is nigh invulnerable to creature destruction; other removal is more useful, since destruction only feeds her graveyard and conversely, she can use board wipes like {{Card URL|The Great Aurora}} at will.

Nissa of Shadowed Boughs, sometimes called N5, is the fifth of six playable [[Planeswalkers]] in MtGPQ which embody Nissa Revane at different points in her life.

Karn is an unusual Planeswalker, to say the least. Being colorless, Karn can generally include [[card]]s of any [[color]] in his [[deck]]s, as long as they share a color with the [[event]] node on which he plays. He has high health and below average deck limits. His mana bonuses are perfectly balanced, but in total, as low as [[Origins]] Planeswalkers. All of his abilities are quite inexpensive; his first is tied for second cheapest, and the second and third are the cost of many Planeswalkers' first and second abilities. The other two abilities that cost 4 Loyalty are the first abilities of [[Daxos the Returned]] and [[Jace, Mirror Mage]].

Like [[Sarkhan Unbroken]], he can also receive a boost to his bonuses of the colors of a card, but he {{Ability|Fetch|Fetches}} the card rather than draws, and the bonus is permanent. His ultimate (ult) creates a strong golem {{Ability|Token}} that can gain {{Ability|Prevent Damage}} while 3 supports are controlled. His abilities have a minor {{Ability|Exile}} theme, including returning cards from exile to hand with a small mana boost, and {{Ability|fetch|fetching}} a card from the library and exiling others.

Karn, Scion of Urza is the first of a small number of playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Karn at different points in his life.
