[[Fate is Rarely Fair]] is a [[Legacy]] PvP event, first released in January 2017 along with the [[Aether Revolt]] card set.

Once a Planeswalker has been chosen for a node, another may not be chosen for that node, nor may that Planeswalker be chosen for another node, for the whole event.

The event changed from Legacy to block-restricted in May 2021, and back to Legacy in March 2022.
