[[Ugin, the Spirit Dragon]] is a colorless elder dragon Planeswalker, introduced after 6.5.0.

He has medium health and balanced deck limits. As is often the case with colorless [[Planeswalkers]], his mana bonus total is lower than the 7 of other colorless and tri-color PWs. His is +5; +1 to each color.

He can exile all colored cards on the board, which is arguably the most powerful PW removal ability in the game, albeit one that harms the player as well. His abilities are, of course, capable of increasing his color bonuses, but also his loyalty bonus. He can summon creatures and gain loyalty bonuses with his first and third abilities.

Ugin's rune cost to increase levels is the same as the cost to level a tri-colored Planeswalker ({{Runes|323,750}}).

Ugin is the second of a small number of playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody the construct Planeswalker Ugin at different points in his life.

Ability 1 - Elder Insight (Cost 12)

Level 1: Exile the top card of your library. Your Loyalty bonus is increased by 2. This bonus can't be raised by this ability more than 2 times.

Level 2: Exile the top card of your library. Your Loyalty bonus is increased by 2. This bonus can't be raised by this ability more than 3 times. Then: Gain X mana. X is equal to your Loyalty bonus.

Level 3: Exile the top 2 cards of your library. Increase your Loyalty bonus by 2 and all your other Mana bonuses by 1. These bonuses can't be raised by this ability more than 3 times. Then: Gain X mana. X is equal to your Loyalty bonus.

Level 4: Exile the top 4 cards of your library. Increase your Loyalty bonus by 3 and all your other Mana bonuses by 1. These bonuses can't be raised by this ability more than 3 times. Then: Gain X mana. X is equal to your Loyalty bonus.

Ability 2 - Rendezvous of Spirits (Cost 16)

Level 1: Create a Colorless Spirit token.

Level 2: Create 2 Colorless Spirit Tokens. Your Spirit creature tokens gain Defender until the beginning of your next turn.

Level 3: Move the first 2 cards from your exile to your hand. Create 3 Colorless Spirit Tokens. Your Spirit creature tokens gain Defender and Flying until the beginning of your next turn.

Level 4: Move the first 3 cards from your exile to your hand. Create 4 Colorless Spirit Tokens. Your Spirit creature tokens gain Defender and Flying.

Ability 3 - Imprisonment on the Meditation Realm (Cost 23)

Level 1: Create a Spirit-Gem token.

Level 2: Exile all colored creatures. This effect can affect Vanguard supports. Create a Spirit-Gem token.

Level 3: Exile all colored cards. This effect can affect Vanguard supports. Create a Spirit-Gem token.

Level 4: Exile all colored cards. This effect can affect Vanguard supports. Create a Spirit-Gem token. Gain an extra swap.
