Cards
In a game of Magic The Gathering: Puzzle Quest, decks are made up of unlimited copies of a selection of 10 cards. Mana is needed to play cards, and is generated by matching gems on the board. Cards can be obtained in packs. New cards are continuously released in expansions.
Pack types
Several different types of card pack may be purchased using in-game currency, or gained as rewards in Events. A free pack can also be claimed at regular intervals.
Each card has a rarity of either Common (C), Uncommon (U), Rare (R), Mythic (M), or Masterpiece (MP). Progressively rarer cards are less likely to drop from packs.
