RP replaced [[Zendikar Expeditions]] as the daily event. Where ZE offered five nodes, any of which could be played while they had charges, RP returns to the "unlock the wheel" style of [[Across Ixalan]]; nodes in this event are unlocked by defeating the previous node.

Once a Planeswalker is selected for a node, that selection cannot be changed for the duration of the event, but the Planeswalker is still available to be used on other nodes. For example, a {{Color Icons|UBR}} [[Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh|Nicol Bolas]] could be chosen for all three of the Blue, Black and Red nodes, but the player could not switch to him if a [[Jace, Telepath Unbound|Jace]] had already been chosen for the Blue node. This differs from the usual type of Locked Nodes, where a PW can only be used on a single node.

The initial announcement of the event's release proclaimed a points structure of five Ribbons ({{Ribbons}}) for the win, and three and two for the secondary objectives. Popular disclaiming of this plan on the forums led to the current points structure, with double the points available.

As of the release of this event, there are only two Red Double Strike creatures in the whole of Standard, one of which is a Masterpiece. Until this might be fixed, it will force players of the [[#Red Node|Red Node]] to play White and Red Planeswalkers on it, or forego the points for that objective, or draw the match out for a very long time.

Special rules

Each event in the series has the following special features:

Permanent support Permanent support
 A permanent support affects play on one or more nodes.
Color restriction Color restriction One or more nodes in this event can only be played by Planeswalkers of a specified color.
Locked nodes Locked nodes Once a Planeswalker has been chosen for a node, it's locked in for the whole event.

Once a Planeswalker is selected for a node, that selection cannot be changed for the duration of the event, but the Planeswalker is still available to be used on other nodes. For example, a BlueBlackRed Nicol Bolas could be chosen for all three of the Blue, Black and Red nodes, but the player could not switch to him if a Jace had already been chosen for the Blue node.
