Overview

Tibalt, Cosmic Impostor is a black and red half-devil half-human Planeswalker, released in February 2021 along with the Kaldheim card set.

He has high health, average mana gains with an unbalanced spread, and average deck limits.

Tibalt's abilities synergise with Exile effects. He can Exile cards from play, cause Destroyed cards to be Exiled instead, and can temporarily Copy  opposing cards when Exiled. As well as dealing damage based on exiled cards, his ultimate ability drains the opponent's loyalty and gives them a self-harming Vanguard support. He can also create Token  creatures, and give his Tokens  and Copies  Haste .

Story

Tibalt should have been executed or jailed for life. Instead, he invoked a potent and hateful spell, from the devil's utterances and his own grim discoveries. The spell fused his own essence with theirs, at the cost of experiencing all the pain he had inflicted on others.
