Revolving Planeswalk: BRO Edition

Revolving Planeswalk: BRO Edition is a Standard PvP event, released along with The Brothers’ War set. RP:BRO is planned as a complement to, not a replacement for, Revolving Planeswalk.

Revolving Planeswalks have five varieties, which are run as daily events during the week, each with an entry fee of 20 . Each version of the event and each node corresponds to a different colour. All five nodes and their special supports appear in every version, run in a different order for each color of event; the first node is always the color of the event. The rest are run in the order: Blue, Black, Red, Green, except White replaces whichever color is first. Subsequent nodes are unlocked by defeating the previous node.

A Planeswalker may be chosen for any combination of the nodes of its colors, but once a Planeswalker has been chosen for a node, another may not be chosen for that node, for the whole event. This differs from the usual type of Locked Nodes, where a PW can only be chosen for a single node.

The Special Rules are: Locked Nodes, Color Restricted, and Permanent Supports affecting play.

RP features no unique elements of the DMU set. Instead, like Break the Powerstone, artifacts are its focus.

Revolving Planeswalk nodes have a very fast, two hour recharge time.

Special rules

Each event in the series has the following special features:

Locked nodes	Once a Planeswalker has been chosen for a node, it's locked in for the whole event.

Color restriction	One or more nodes in this event can only be played by Planeswalkers of a specified color.

Permanent support		A permanent support affects play on one or more nodes.

White Node

Only planeswalkers with affinity to White can be played.

Permanent support: Argivian Advance
Side: Both	Token  Can’t Be Destroyed, Can’t Be Exiled When an artifact card enters play under a player’s control: White creatures that player controls get +1/+1. When a player matches an artifact support’s gem: White creatures that player controls gain Vigilance  until the beginning of their next turn.

Blue Node

Permanent support: Urza’s Utopia
Side: Both	Token  Can’t Be Destroyed, Can’t Be Exiled When a player casts a Blue card: That player creates a Powerstone token. When a player matches an artifact support’s gem: The first Blue card in That player’s hand gains 3 mana. When a player matches this support’s gem: That player’s Blue mana bonus is increased by 2 until the end of their next turn.

Black Node

Permanent support: Brotherhood’s Bidding
Side: Both	Token  Can’t Be Destroyed, Can’t Be Exiled When a player casts an artifact card: Their opponent loses X life. X is the number of Black cards in that player’s graveyard. When a player matches an artifact support’s gem: Destroy the top card of their library.

Red Node

Permanent support: Mishra’s Madness
Side: Both	Token  Can’t Be Destroyed, Can’t Be Exiled When an artifact card is destroyed or loses a reinforcement during each player’s turn: That player deals 2 damage to any target. When a player casts a Red card: That player creates a Powerstone token. Each artifact support loses 1 shield.

Green Node

Permanent support: Argothian Ascension
Side: Both	Token  Can’t Be Destroyed, Can’t Be Exiled When a player casts a Green creature: Their opponent creates 2 Powerstone tokens When a player matches an opposing artifact support’s gem: That player’s first Green creature gets +4/+4 and gains Hexproof.

Story

“Unite your favorite cards and Planeswalkers to visit a random plane from among the current standard rotation and enjoy the best strategical buffs that each of them can offer!

In this PvP event, each day you will fight against other players with the help of a different set of supports that bring the characteristics of one of the current standard rotation’s sets.

Your Planeswalkers will be attached to their current nodes, so you can play with any Planeswalker that shares at least one color with the node’s colors.”
