Infobox Sorin
Sorin, Grim Nemesis is a white and black vampire Planeswalker, introduced in August 2016 along with the Shadows over Innistrad card set.
He has very low health, average mana gains with a balanced spread, and average deck limits with a strong focus on Creatures.
His abilities, all of which are only as strong as his depend on the number of creatures in play, have a life gain theme, including gaining life and a small mana boost per creature, creating a support Token which gains life when his creatures attack, and creating another support Token which permanently buff his creatures' Power when he gains life.
Sorin, Grim Nemesis is the first of three playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Sorin Markov at different points in his life.
| Effect 4 = Create a Support (5 shield) with "When you gain Life, each of your creatures gain +4/0."

Story
<blockquote>“Death not for survival but for vanity and pleasure? This is the decadence I sought to curb.”<br>Sorin Markov is a Planeswalker, and though his family no longer welcomes him, he has gone to extraordinary lengths to protect his home plane. Over the centuries after the birth of their race, the vampires of Innistrad grew increasingly disdainful of humanity and hunted them ever more boldly. As Sorin watched through the years, he saw that as the vampires’ power increased, human villages dwindled, so he created the archangel Avacyn and established a religion around her, incorporating magical wards that would give her followers protection against the horrors of the night.</blockquote>
