Overview

Adventures in the Forgotten Realms is the 31st expansion set of Magic: The Gathering - Puzzle Quest, released in August 2021 in version 5.1 of the game. The set abbreviation is AFR, and the set icon (AFR) resembles a dragon. The characters, mechanics, and settings of this card set are based on the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game.

You've Found An Entrance is a Standard PvE event, released at the same time, featuring elements of the set.

Dungeon Master, Ellywick Tumblestrum and Grand Master of Flowers are Planeswalkers that were released at the same time as the set.

When AFR was released, the Alignment ability system was introduced. Thenceforth, all mono colored Planeswalkers were given "passive" abilities that are triggered automatically in gameplay.
