Angels' Embrace
Angels' Embrace was a Legacy PvP event introduced in January 2017, along with the release of the Aether Revolt set.

The event was run as a free event on Valentine's Day from 2017 to 2021, and had themes of angels and red mana. In February 2022 it was replaced by Devour in Flames on two successive Valentine's Days, until it returned, unannounced on the weekly schedule, on the 22nd of June 2023, as a paid event with a fee of 60 Crystals.
Once a Planeswalker has been chosen for a node, another may not be chosen for that node, nor may that Planeswalker be chosen for another node, for the whole event.

Schedule
Begins at 7AM UTC, with three charges on each of two nodes. Acquires an additional two charges, one at eight hours after commencement and one at sixteen hours. There are six hours between the final charge and its ending, 22 hours from commencement, at 5AM UTC. With five maximum charges, none can be lost.

The net cost for Platinum Tier players is low, but the rewards are negligible. Non-Standard Uncommon and Rare cards that have little potential for play or Crafting Orbs, despite significantly more games played than Battles From the Ages.
