Event
The Kamigawa Run is a PvP Standard Coalition event, released at the same time. No game mechanics from NEO are present in the event's objectives, but the event's permanent supports affect cards with NEO mechanics.
NEO added two Mythic cards to the Battles From the Ages non-duplicate rewards list; Spirit-Sister's Call and The Kami War.
Planeswalkers
Kaito Shizuki, Tamiyo, Compleated Sage, Tezzeret, Betrayer of Flesh and The Wandering Emperor are Planeswalkers released at the same time as the set.
