The Origins [[Story]] level introduces players to the game and rewards the player through the tutorial. It is broken up into three chapters of two parts each. Each chapter has a varying number of battles.
Each battle has four [[Objectives]], three of which are listed at the start, and all of which give [[Resources]] as [[#Rewards|Rewards]]. Winning earns mana runes and opens up the next battle for play - this is the unlisted objective. Winning a given battle once with a Planeswalker of each of the five colors earns 10 Mana Crystals. A second objective earns mana runes, and the final objective earns 15 Mana Crystals. Dual and tri-color walkers count each of their colors towards the second objective, so [[Portal:Story#5 colors in 2 games|all five colors can be won in two games]]: one three color PW, and a dual or three color PW that covers the remaining colors.
As of July 2022, "kill X enemy creatures" objectives can be completed by Destroying the player's own creatures.
