Revolving Planeswalk: BRO Edition is a Standard PvP event, released along with The Brothers’ War set. RP:BRO is planned as a complement to, not a replacement for, Revolving Planeswalk. The event opened with a bug on the Red Node, which was swiftly fixed.

RP:BRO has five varieties, which are run as daily events during the week, each with an entry fee of 20 Mana Crystals. Each version of the event and each node corresponds to a different colour. All five nodes and their special supports appear in every version, run in a different order for each color of event; the first node is always the color of the event. The rest are run in the order: Blue, Black, Green, Red, except White replaces whichever color is first. Subsequent nodes are unlocked by defeating the previous node.

A Planeswalker may be chosen for any combination of the nodes of its colors, but once a Planeswalker has been chosen for a node, another may not be chosen for that node, for the whole event. For example, Sarkhan Unbroken could be played on all three of Blue node and Green node and Red node, but the player could not switch to Sarkhan if a Chandra had already been chosen for Red node. This differs from the usual type of Locked Nodes, where a PW can only be chosen for a single node.

The Special Rules are: Locked Nodes, Color Restricted, and Permanent Supports affecting play.

Day Event Version Color Node Order
Monday Order of the Blessed White White White Node Blue Node Black Node Green Node Red Node
Tuesday Faculty of the Wise Blue Blue Blue Node White Node Black Node Green Node Red Node
Wednesday Well of the Autocratic Black Black Black Node Blue Node White Node Green Node Red Node
Thursday Battle Cry of the Furious Red Red Red Node Blue Node Black Node Green Node White Node
Friday Nursery of the Consonant Green Green Green Node Blue Node Black Node White Node Red Node

RP features no unique elements of the DMU set. Instead, like Break the Powerstone, artifacts are its focus.

Revolving Planeswalk nodes have a very fast, two hour recharge time.

Story

“Unite your favorite cards and Planeswalkers to visit a random plane from among the current standard rotation and enjoy the best strategical buffs that each of them can offer!
In this PvP event, each day you will fight against other players with the help of a different set of supports that bring the characteristics of one of the current standard rotation’s sets.
Your Planeswalkers will be attached to their current nodes, so you can play with any Planeswalker that shares at least one color with the node’s colors.”

White Order of the Blessed

"Every name on this list is already a hero! Will you add your own to it?”

Blue Faculty of the Wise

"Some bad dreams stay with you forever."

Black Well of the Autocratic

"Listen, Duck. Gix is everywhere, playing every side. Mishra won't listen... but perhaps Urza will."

Green Nursery of the Consonant

"This metal belonged to Argoth before it was ripped from the ground. Now it belongs to Argoth again."

Red Battle Cry of the Furious

"As retaliation for the Warlord's ambush at the peace summit, Mishra leveled Yotia's capital city."

Notes

When first announced, the points were stated to be 5, 3, 2, rather than 10, 5, 5.

Summoning artifact supports counts towards the second objective; confirmed on Blue Node and Green Node.

Mishra's Madness and presumably other node supports also count as "casting a card" of their color.
