In this event, the The player faces faced a different Dragon in each node, adding the Dragon's abilities to their [[Loyalty]] abilities.

Once a Planeswalker has been was chosen for a node, another may might not be chosen for that node, nor may might that Planeswalker be chosen for another node, for the whole event.

Completing its objectives is was possible without cards from its associated set. The Dragon War was last run in March, 2020.
