Tibalt's abilities synergise with {{Ability|Exile}} effects. He has high healthcan {{Ability|Exile}} cards from play, cause {{Ability|Destroy|Destroyed}} cards to be {{Ability|Exile|Exiled}} instead, and can temporarily {{Ability|Copy}} opposing cards when {{Ability|Exile|Exiled}}. As well as dealing damage based on exiled cards, average mana gains with an unbalanced spreadhis ultimate ability drains the opponent's loyalty and gives them a self-harming Vanguard support. He can also create Red Devil or Demon Berserker {{Ability|Token}} creatures, and average deck limitsgive his {{Ability|Token|Tokens}} and {{Ability|Copy|Copies}} {{Ability|Haste}}.
The Valki, God of Lies card cannot be created for the opponent with Tibalt's abilities synergise with {{Ability|Exile}} effectsalone, since his God of Lies ability requires that the opponent not control a Tibalt Vanguard. The second half of the ability goes off instead.
