The first in what is assumed to be a series, the Zendikar vs Eldrazi event was first run as a Beta Test over two weekends in October 2018.  The first Beta had charges hit every five minutes, which was essentially an endless supply of charges, the second was limited to a charge every six hours.  The general consensus was the first format was better.  The second format was used for the general release.

Format

The Duel Decks format is a new event format that consists of three phases.
