She has lower than average health, average mana gains with a balanced spread, and average deck limits. Her limit of eight supports is second only to [[Wrenn and Six]] and [[Tezzeret, the Seeker]]; she has a below average Spell limit.
She has mildly powerful abilities of disabling enemies, graveyard recursion, and card drawing. All of them are enhanced considerably by the creation of her [[#Tamiyo's Notebook|Notebook]] supports, which convert gems or grant Loyalty, when their {{Ability|Mana Field}}s are activated. Tamiyo, Compleated Sage is the second of two playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ to embody Tamiyo at different points in her life.
