Abilities that make the opponent lose life. Loss of life as a cost to pay for positive abilities is included under the "Lose life (cost)" category, because of some the cards that activate abilities when their the user loses life. Perhaps a "Lose  Liliana, Master of Death is included in both, because her ability can make both players lose life (cost)" category could make the distinction.quite rapidly
