He has lower than average healthHis abilities, some of which are triggered by a {{Ability|Kicker}} cost or {{Ability|Wizardry}}, all manipulate cards, high especially {{Ability|Copy|Copying}} them; sometimes with mana gains with an unbalanced spreadgain. He can also draw cards, and average deck limits with destroy cards in libraries. He can make a focus on spellscopy of his Vanguard support from [[ZNR]]; because they do not reinforce, they can potentially cover the board.

Jace's first [[Loyalty]] ability is tied for second cheapest. Uniquely, his third ability becomes cheaper as it levels up, and becomes cheaper than his first (and tied for cheapest in the game with [[Ob Nixilis Reignited]]). It even starts out cheaper than his second, but it is also less powerful. His abilities all manipulate cards, especially [[#Starting Deck|Starting Deck]] has two {{Ability|Copy|CopyingLandforming}} themcards which can make Land supports, sometimes including "Glasspool Mimic", a Rogue which buffs itself with mana gain. He can also draw cards, the power and destroy cards in librariestoughness of another creature on the board.
