==Overview==
While [[Portal:Story|Story Mode]] is a great place to start playing, '''Events''' are the mainstay of ''[[Magic: the Gathering Puzzle Quest]]''. Daily Events allow players to gain steady rewards and grow their card collections to compete in larger [[PvE ]] and [[PvP ]] events.
Events generally consist of one or more [[Nodes]], on which battles take place. Battles can have different [[Objectives]]. Winning battles and achieving objectives increases a player's score in the event, which determines the [[Rewards]] they receive.
Every weekend, [[Coalition]] events are held. The requirement for joining them is membership in a Coalition, and the requirement for receiving Coalition credit is to join the Coalition before the event starts.
Events usually start off as [[Standard]], and often become [[Legacy]] when their associated set rotates out of Standard.
