→How Standard changes
The card sets in Standard format match the Standard format of tabletop MtG, with the single difference of [[Origins]] always being in Standard. The Standard format changes according to the following rules:
* New sets are added to Standard until Standard contains Origins plus 8 main-line non-Origins card sets. (Note that [[Daxos vs Kalemne]], although in Standard, is not considered a main-line card set.)
* When the 9th non-Origins set (10th set total10 main-line Standard sets including Origins) is added, the oldest four non-Origins Sets are removed from Standard.
When [[Throne of Eldraine]] was added to MtGPQ in November 2019, the following card sets rotated out of Standard: [[XLN]], [[RIX]], [[DOM]], and [[M19]].
