His mana gains are quite unbalanced; there's even a gap of four between his +6 Black and +2 Blue bonuses. His deck limits are balanced, with a focus on Spells.
All of his abilities are very expensive and fairly powerful. His first is a combination of card draw, mana gain and making the opponent discard. The second enables the {{Ability|Ninjutsu}} mechanic by summoning a Rogue or Ninja. The third fetches creates a [[#Shadow Scroll|Shadow Scroll]] token that can fetch up to two full-mana creature creatures of any type.
