Overview
Booster Crafting is a means for players to be able to obtain new cards in a targeted manner. Duplicate cards are converted into Mana Orbs () with a bonus of 50% more Orbs if the duplicate is from a set which cannot yet be crafted. Sets typically cannot be crafted until one month after their initial release.
Players will be able to select the bloc and the card rarity of the card pool which they wish to craft from. The crafted card will be a guaranteed new card randomly chosen from the selected pool. For the bloc, players can choose any individual Standard set or a combined Legacy pool. For the rarity, players can choose to craft Common, Uncommon, Rare or Mythic cards. Masterpieces cannot be crafted.
Crafting Rates
Card Rarity | Origins | Legacy | Standard | Newest Set |
---|---|---|---|---|
Mythic | 3,000 | 3,000 | 5,000 | 7,500 |
Rare | 600 | 600 | 1,000 | 1,500 |
Uncommon | 300 | 300 | 500 | 750 |
Common | 60 | 60 | 100 | 150 |
Strategies
- Spend Crystals on newly released sets to benefit from the 50% bonus Orbs from duplicates.
- Newer players should focus on crafting Origins as its card pack have lower drop rates and it is cheaper to craft than the other Standard sets. Additionally, Origins will not rotate out of Standard.
- Crafting Mythics from a specific set increases your chances of pulling Masterpieces from the 400 Mythic+ Elite Packs of that set. Craft all the Mythics in the Elite Pack's card pool and you are guaranteed to pull a Masterpiece from the 400 Mythic+ Elite Pack.
