Native to the plane of Alara, Tezzeret is an artificerand master of etherium crafting. While young, hereplaced his own arm with an artificial etheriumlimb. He agreed to serve [[Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh|Nicol Bolas]] in exchangefor power, and most recently was integral to theconstruction of a device to open portals betweenplanes. Although Bolas' enemies thought thedevice was destroyed, Tezzeret incorporated themechanisms into his body, becoming a planarbridge himself.
