[[Kaito Shizuki]] is a black and blue human Planeswalker, introduced in March 2022 along with the [[Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty]] card set.
His mana gains are similar to more of a "spike" type than many mono color walker, in that walkers; he has a high spike bonus of +6 to Black and only +2 to Blue. His deck limits are balanced, with a focus on Spells.
All of his abilities are very expensive and fairly powerful. His first is a combination of card draw, mana gain and making the opponent discard. The second enables the {{Ability|Ninjutsu}} mechanic by summoning a Rogue or Ninja. The third creates a [[#Shadow Scroll|Shadow Scroll]] token that can fetch up to two full-mana creatures of any type.
