[[Kaito Shizuki]] is a black and blue human Planeswalker, introduced in March 2022 along with the [[Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty]] card set.
All of his abilities are very expensive and fairly powerful. His first is a combination of card draw, mana gain and making the opponent discard. The second enables the {{Ability|Ninjutsu}} mechanic by summoning a Rogue or Ninja. The third creates a [[#Shadow Scroll|Shadow Scroll]] token that can fetch up to two full-mana creatures of any type.
Kaito has low hit points at low level and gains HP more rapidly around level 40.
Kaito Shizuki is the first of a number of playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Kaito at different points in their [[#Story|life story]].
