[[Jeska, Thrice Reborn]] is a red human Planeswalker, introduced in May 2021 along with the [[Strixhaven]] card set.
She has high health, high and average deck limits. She has good mana gains with a slightly unbalanced spreadin not only Red, but Black and average deck limitsGreen as well.
She can replace cards in her hand and temporarily give a creature many reinforcements. Her ultimate power destroys gems and creates a support which can fetch spell cards with mana from her library and cast cards from her graveyard.
Jeska's abilities ramp up sharply once certain conditions are met, in a remedial or rewarding way. When there are few Red gems, her gem destruction triples. When the game has gone on long enough, enough spells have been cast, or enough creatures have been lost, for there to be many cards in the graveyard, the damage inflicted by her first ability also triples.
