He maintains thishis high Blue mana bonus, and decent mana gains in white and black, with the aid of the deepest cut minus in the game (tied): -3 to red. He has slightly above average deck limits: six Creatures, seven Spells, and six Supports. his abilities are complicated. In short:#{{Ability|Deny}}: The opponent of the creator of the Deny gem gains Deny status. Only one player may be in Denied status at a given time. When a Denied player matches a Deny gem, they are Restrained. When a non-Denied player matches a Deny gem, a Time Bubble gem is created.#{{Ability|Restrain}} lowers an opponent's non-Blue mana bonuses by 1#{{Ability|Time Bubble}} drains 3 mana when its owner matches it, and makes the opponent {{Ability|Discard}} when they match it. Teferi's abilities create, and mirror and enhance these properties of, his PMA [[Gems#Improved gems|Improved gems]]. His first Denies. His second Restrains, converts gems, and gains mana equal to the Blue gems. His third both Denies and Restrains, makes the opponent discard all cards with mana, and draws as many cards as were discarded. Teferi, Chronoclast has a Passive Ability: [[#Denial|Denial]], which gives him 2 mana when his opponent casts a Blue card, and Denies a gem when his opponent casts any other color of card, or a colorless card. The costs of Loyalty abilities are almost always divisible by three; Teferi's first and third are Prime Numbers, and exceptions to the rule.
