He has average health and average deck limits, with slightly lowered creature and spell limits to allow the penultimate support count of nine. Like [[Karn, Scion of Urza]], his mana bonuses are perfectly balanced, but in total, as low as [[Origins]] Planeswalkers.
All of his abilities create the support first seen in his unique supportabilities, that has since become available to almost 10% of [[The Brothers' War]]'s cards: the [[#Powerstone|Powerstone]]. Like Wizard Class and its ilk, it cannot be reinforced, so it can potentially cover the board, which in turn powers it up, for a virtuous circle. However, it is not {{Ability|Resilient}} as Wizard Class is, and it only activates when [[matching|matched]].
Karn, Living Legacy is even more niche than Karn, Reflective Silver, being strong with powerful cards like Old Gnawbone that can cover the board in {{Ability|Treasure}} artifacts (or the equivalent for {{Ability|Fabricate|Fabricated}} Servo {{Ability|Token|tokens}}), and weak outside of that context.
