Changes

''Jace was born in Vryn, with the very rare gift of telepathy. His magic manifested at a very young age, so it was very difficult to control. At the age of thirteen Jace’s father sought a local wizard, Alhammarret, to help with the young wizard’s magic. Alhammarret used Jace’s telepathy to feed both sides of a waging war in Vryn, repeatedly erasing the boy’s memory between each incursion. The abuse on Jace’s mind reached a turning point and Jace was finally able to see his master for who he really was, a greedy Sphinx. The duel between the two telepaths destroyed Alhammarret’s mind completely, and caused much damage to Jace’s own, his spark ignited and he planeswalked away fully for the first time, to Ravnica.''
