Huatli is a Warrior-Poet to be of the Sun Empire, a
title bestowed to only one person in a generation.
To earn that title, one must demonstrate
excellency in service to the kingdom. Out on a
mission and in combat with the Minotaur Pirate,
[[Angrath,_the_Flame-Chained|Angrath]], her Planeswalker spark ignites. She sees
glimpes of a golden City and is pulled back into
[[Across_Ixalan|lxalan]]. Angrath recognizes what she is and asks for
her help in trying to planeswalk away from lxalan.
Thinking she saw [[Race_to_Orazca|Orazca]], she declines and rushes
back to her emperor. She, then, embarks on an
expedition to find Orazca and earn the title of
Warrior-Poet.
