==Overview==
[[Nissa, Sage Animist]] is a green elf Planeswalker, introduced in December 2015 along with the public game launch. Being an [[Origins]] planeswalker, she is always available in the vault, and is cheaper than similar planeswalkers from other sets.
She is a starting Planeswalker given to all new players when they begin playing the game. As such, she can't be purchased from the vault.
She has low health, low mana gains with a balanced spread, and high deck limits with a focus on Creatures.
Her abilities have a theme of green gems, including a major gem conversion effect, as well as a minor gem conversion effect which also provides minor life gain, card draw, and mana boost. She can also give her creatures a temporary buff.
Nissa, Sage Animist, is sometimes called N1, and is the first of four playable [[Planeswalkers]] in MtGPQ which embody Nissa Revane at different points in her life.
