Template:SetSymbol

Usage

This template produces an small symbol icon that is used to represent set expansion symbols.

• The first parameter is the three-letter acronym of an expansion set.
• The second parameter (optional) is the height of the icon (default: 16).
• The third parameter (optional) is the wiki link for the image. The default link is the set abbreviation.

Maintenance

• To capture and upload a new set symbol:
  1. Install the latest Keyrune TrueType font from https://github.com/andrewgioia/Keyrune/blob/master/fonts/keyrune.ttf
  2. Insert the symbol for the new set from the Keyrune font into a document in a word processor tool (such as Word)
  3. Capture an image of the symbol at 40pt font size and 100% scaling
  4. Trim the image to 120x120 pixels in an image editor (such as Gimp)
  5. Convert the white background to transparency (e.g. via "Color to Alpha" in Gimp)
  6. Export and upload to the wiki with filename XYZ_Symbol.png, where XYZ is the expansion name
