Story

The crime families of New Capenna channel the same three color Arc, or Shard, mana combinations as in Alara. The Obscura are Esper    ; Maestros are Grixis    . The Riveteers are Jund    , and Cabaretti are Naya    . The Brokers are Bant    .

The SNC tri color lands are the complement to the Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths Triomes, and recreate the Shards of Alara.

Cards

The Streets of New Capenna card set consists of 243 cards across all five rarities: 80 Common, 68 Uncommon, 55 Rare, 26 Mythic, 14 Masterpiece. Plus full art variants of 65 of those cards: 11 C, 14 UC, 30 Rare, 10 Mythic.

The Battles From the Ages event is currently the only way to obtain the normal art version of the four Mythic Streets of New Capenna Vanguard  cards; as of January 2023, they are not available in the Vault for Mana Jewels as is normal. All of them except for Dakkon, Shadow Slayer have full art versions, historically a guarantee that they will be offered at Fblthp.
