- "The Wilds are unpredictable. Rivers change course, tree shuffle and bend, rocks split and scurry. But marks my words, traveler-the main thing that'll change out there is you."
All nodes have the same first and third of three objectives: Win, obviously, but also Leyline 10: convert 10 gems.
Charges are added in excess of the maximum; charges can be missed. This is extremely unlikely to inconvenience anyone, since the available ribbons are so far in excess of the maximum reward amount.
The maximum of four pack rewards are the same as other Webcore events, but the number of games required to gain them is usually nine; ItWoE requires double that, for eighteen games.
Every node has its own special support; a copy is given to each player.
Into the Wilds of Eldraine is one of only a handful of PvP events that do not give Individual rewards. Other than the daily events, the holiday events, lucrative ones like Across Ixalan, and the odd Role Reversal, every single one is a new event by Webcore : Commoner Cup, Following the Clues, Leyline Dominion, Locomotive Looters, Lost in Caverns of Ixalan, and Mana Burn.

Difficulty creep has been noticable before this event, with the "summon 15 creatures" and "gain 20 life" of Family Business making purchasing Ajani more desirable, but with high requirements for all of ItWoE's second objectives, across the board, there doesn't seem to be any financial motivation; just a preference for increased difficulty.
For example, although a handful of events' Mightstone objectives require power 6 creatures, no other events require six of any power.
The Rune rewards can be obtained with only two games played, and are lavish, compared to any other event; this may be desirable for newer players.
