Lukka, Bound to Ruin is a red and green human Planeswalker, announced in March 2023 along with the Phyrexia: All Will Be One (ONE) card set, and released for cash on the 7th of May and for Crystals on the 8th of June.

He has low health and varied deck limits with a high spell limit at the expense of supports. He has quite good mana bonuses in his colors, and a -2 to Blue.

Lukka's abilities give him a second win condition - the ONE ability of Toxic  - but they are not entirely focused on it. His first increases the pace of creature summoning by adding Mana to creatures in hand, both directly and with a support. His second ability buffs a creature and gives it Toxic . His third can potentially wipe the board of creatures and destroy an enemy Vanguard. Both the second and third can create Phyrexian Beast Tokens; they have Toxic, but also Berserker, which prevents Toxic from activating until the enemy has no creatures. In this sense, the 2nd ability's buff losing Berserker at level 40 is fully positive, but is also a loss of a creature removal option.

Lukka, Bound to Ruin is the third of a handful of playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Lukka at different points in his life story.

Story

"Able to form bonds with creatures from across the multiverse, Lukka has a deep resentment with his home plane of Ikoria as the people he wished to protect with an army of monsters rejected him. Fortunately, he was able to bond with a centaur hulk from New Phyrexia. Their connection was so strong they eventually fused, becoming one Compleated entity. Maybe Lukka will show the people of Ikoria they made a huge mistake once all become one."
