Story

“Some time rifts didn’t take away the people but just the ground they stood on.”

Dominaria is dying.

For those magical enough to notice the plane’s mana is being drained, and without mana, everything decays. For everyone else, resources are scarce, life doesn’t flourish, food spoils and soon, death comes.

But to someone as powerful as a planeswalker, whatever it is that is happening to Dominaria, is nothing compared to what will happen to the multiverse if Dominaria perishes. As the nexus of the multiverse Dominaria was the first plane to feel the effects of the unusual magical presence of planeswalkers. The plane’s mana is leaking into the Blind Eternities, the space between realms. And only magic as powerful as the ones that created it, can really close a time rift.

Special rules

Permanent support		A permanent support affects play on one or more nodes.

Players are affected by a support that alters their mana bonus each turn. The supports cycle through the following order: Zhalfir Rift () -> Madara Rift () -> Shiv Rift () -> Yavimaya Rift () -> Urborg Rift () -> Tolaria Rift () -> Zhalfir Rift ():

Permanent support: Zhalfir Rift
Side: Player	At the beginning of your turn: Increase your White mana bonus by 9 until the end of your turn. Then: Increase your opponent's White mana bonus by 9 until the end of their next turn. At the end of your opponent's turn: Destroy all loyalty gems. Then: Destroy this support and create a Madara Rift Token.

Permanent support: Madara Rift
Side: Player	At the beginning of your turn: Increase your Loyalty mana bonus by 9 until the end of your turn. Then: Increase your opponent's Loyalty mana bonus by 9 until the end of their next turn. At the end of your opponent's turn: Destroy all loyalty gems. Then: Destroy this support and create a Shiv Rift Token.
