Overview
Kaladesh is the sixth Magic: The Gathering - Puzzle Quest set, released in December 2016 in version 1.9 of the game. The set abbreviation is KLD, and the set icon ( ) resembles a swirling band of energy.
Fateful Showdown and Holiday Showdown are Legacy PvE events released at the same time and featuring elements of the set.
Chandra, Torch of Defiance, Dovin Baan and Saheeli Rai are Planeswalkers that were released at the same time as the set. The Kaladesh Planeswalkers were also the first to include cards from their own set in their Starting Deck, although Saheeli only has a single Battle for Zendikar card, as well as the usual Origins cards. Also, none of the Expansion set Planeswalkers have cards of their own set: Arlinn Kord has SOI cards and Liliana, the Last Hope has all Origins cards, and none of the AER PWs had cards from their own set, either.
