Vivien on the Hunt is a green human Planeswalker, released in June 2022 along with the Streets of New Capenna card set.

She has higher than average health and average deck limits.

Vivien on the Hunt's mana bonuses are top tier, given the right mana conversion. She cannot capitalize on the numerous green Mana options as well as the rare few of her fellow Green Planeswalkers who have a high Green bonus, but she can make good use of the Zendikar Rising/Kaldheim dual lands. AFR Planeswalkers have +5, +4, +3 bonuses, but only Jeska, Thrice Reborn has VotH's even more reliable +4 to three colors.

VotH's last ability is expensive and only reaches full power once the Powered Selection token it creates goes to work, and her first is cheap but replaceable by a slew of cheap green cards, but her second is a splendid combination of graveyard fill and recursion that many black Walkers wish they had access to, even as a card, let alone a repeatable ability. Her Predator's Trail Passive Ability meshes very well with all the berserker sacrifice of her active abilities.

Vivien on the Hunt is the fourth of four playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Vivien Reid at different points in her life.

Story

Always trying to preserve nature around the planes she visits, Vivien Reid finds at New Capenna a new adventure field. She gets infiltrated into the families’ business in order to find information about Elspeth, who might be needing some help.
