The Battle for Zendikar story features a tutorial (similar to Training) plus further chapters of increasing difficulty. The enemies' decks in the tutorial consist of mostly BFZ and some Origins cards, unlike in the Chapters, which are only BfZ cards.

Winning a battle in this chapter awards 200 Mana Runes, plus bonus resources the first time a secondary objective is met.

Learn the Basics

A precursor to the Training node, Learn the Basics introduces players to the mechanics of the Battle for Zendikar set.

Neither player nor opponent had abilities in training battles until the DMU update, but in Learn the Basics, they are actually blank rather than the tantalizing untrained level 1 of Training scenarios.
