Kaladesh
Kaladesh is the sixth Magic: The Gathering - Puzzle Quest set, released in December 2016 in version 1.9 of the game. The set abbreviation is KLD, and the set icon (
) is an example of the copious and elaborate ornamentation of the city of Kaladesh and most things within it, that is illustrated by the set's cards. Kaladesh was the first set to have Masterpiece
cards.

Fateful Showdown and Holiday Showdown are Legacy PvE events released at the same time and featuring elements of the set.
Chandra, Torch of Defiance, Dovin Baan and Saheeli Rai are Planeswalkers that were released at the same time as the set. All of them have Energize abilities. The Kaladesh Planeswalkers were also the first to include cards from their own set in their Starting Deck, although Saheeli only has a single Battle for Zendikar card, as well as the usual Origins cards. Also, none of the Expansion set Planeswalkers have cards of their own set: Arlinn Kord has SOI cards and Liliana, the Last Hope has all Origins cards, and none of the AER PWs had cards from their own set, either. Saheeli and Dovin Baan return the early sets' tradition of irregular mana bonuses, but her total is, uniquely, two points above normal, instead of two lower as Dovin's is.
