Revision as of 00:18, 13 June 2023

March of the Machine is the 41st expansion set of Magic: The Gathering - Puzzle Quest, released on the 12th of June, 2023 in version 6.2 of the game. The set abbreviation is MOM, and the set icon (March of the Machine) is a long dagger, in keeping with the story of the planes uniting in war against Phyrexia.

No new mechanics are added by the expansion and therefore no Training scenario. However, sixteen cards see the return of ConvokeConvoke; more than in its debut in Guilds of Ravnica. Thirteen cards have FlashFlash; not a rare ability, but neither is it common.

Many cards from the MOM paper set, and its "Battles" card ability, were left out of the Puzzle Quest version.

6.2 also saw the beginning of a hopeful end of the infinite combo Danitha, Benalia's Hope and Blade of Shared Souls. Danitha fetched the Blade and gave it full Mana, and the Blade made a CopyCopy of Danitha.

Event

As of release, no new events had been announced.

In addition to the new loading screens added for each new set, a new screen was added to the Usher to Safety version of the Fblthp event. The art is that of the Open the Way card[1] from the MOM set; one of the cards left out of the PQ release.

Planeswalker

Teferi Akosa of Zhalfir is a Planeswalker that was available for cash within two hours of the set appearing for download.

Cards

The March of the Machine card set release consisted of 130 cards across all five rarities: 5 Masterpiece, 10 Mythic, 30 Rare, 40 Uncommon and 45 Common. Full art variants of 18 of those cards were also released.
