Innistrad: Crimson Vow is the 29th expansion set of Magic: The Gathering - Puzzle Quest, released in December 2021 in version 5.3 of the game. The set abbreviation is VOW, and the set icon (VOW) resembles a digitized vampire bat.

Event

Matrimonium is a Standard Coalition PvP event released at the same time as Innistrad: Crimson Vow, and it features Blood Tokens, as well as other elements of the Innistrad setting, like Transforming and Vampires, and the DisturbDisturb mechanic from the previous set.

As of April 2023, Matrimonium has only been run three times: its launch in December 2021, and in 2022 in January and July. Players from low Mastery tiers were matched with players from Gold and Platinum tiers in the December and January matches, and a March scheduling was cancelled.

VOW added two Mythic cards to the Battles From the Ages non-duplicate rewards list; Avabruck Caretaker and Necroduality.

Planeswalkers

Sorin, the Mirthless, Kaya, Geist Hunter, and Chandra, Dressed to Kill are Planeswalkers released at the same time as the set.

Cards

The Innistrad: Crimson Vow set consists of 173 cards across all five rarities, plus full art variants of 38 of those cards.
