Holiday Showdown is a PvP Legacy event introduced in December 2016, along with the release of the Kaladesh set.
This event is not run regularly, but sometimes appears at Christmas time.
Once a Planeswalker has been chosen for the one node, another may not be chosen.
In short: after the first 12 wins; all done. There are no secondary objectives, and no placement or placement rewards. It is likely that the rewards will be updated to packs of the current newest set each time the event is run, as they were in 2020, when the ultimate reward was changed from an Eldraine pack to a ZNR pack, and in December 2022, from ZNR to The Brothers' War .
