Trial of Ambition is a Legacy PvP event, first released in May 2017 along with the Amonkhet card set.

Once a Planeswalker has been chosen for a node, another may not be chosen for that node, nor may that Planeswalker be chosen for another node, for the whole event.

Special rules

Color restriction	One or more nodes in this event can only be played by Planeswalkers of a specified color.

Locked nodes	Once a Planeswalker has been chosen for a node, it's locked in for the whole event.

Enraged	Side: Both	Turns: 5
After 5 turns, both players become enraged and deal double damage.

Node 1: White

Only planeswalkers with affinity to White can be played.

Schedule

Begins at noon UTC and ends 46 hours later at 10AM. Starting with two charges on four nodes, with additional charges every eight hours, and a maximum of five charges allowed. Players must consume charges before thirty-two hours later (8PM UTC on the second day), to avoid losing charges. Thirty-two charges times seven ribbons, for a total of 224 ribbons.
