Amonkhet is the eighth Magic: The Gathering - Puzzle Quest set, released in May 2017 in version 2.1 of the game. The set abbreviation is AKH, and the set icon () resembles a stylized pyramid.
Trial of Ambition is a PvP event and Trial of Zeal is a PvE event; both released at the same time as Amonkhet and featuring elements of the set. Both were originally Standard but are now Legacy.
Gideon of the Trials and Nissa, Steward of the Elements are Planeswalkers released at the same time as the set. Both had only Origins cards in their Starting Decks. Gideon has the mana bonus total that was to become the standard in later sets, but Nissa has seven total; one less than most dual color Planeswalkers.
Cards
The Amonkhet set consists of 194 cards across all rarities.
