Fate is Rarely Fair is a Legacy PvP event, first released in January 2017 along with the Aether Revolt card set.
Once a Planeswalker has been chosen for a node, another may not be chosen for that node, nor may that Planeswalker be chosen for another node, for the whole event.
The event changed from Legacy to block-restricted in May 2021, and back to Legacy in March 2022.
