This page contains historical information about the old four-node daily Rising Tensions event, appearing from November 2018 to October 2020.
Since November 2020, Rising Tensions ceased being a Standard daily event with different flavours, and became a single three-node Legacy event.
Overview
Rising Tensions originally comprised two PvE Legacy events, one with Guilds of Ravnica themes, and the other with Ravnica Allegiance themes.
Each of these two events had five varieties, which were run as daily events during the week. In total, the Rising Tension events featured 10 event varieties, each corresponding to one of the two-color Guilds of Ravnica.
Each instance of the event awarded a guild-specific mythic card as the final progression reward, and had an entry fee of 20 .
Event varieties
Rising Tensions: GRN was introduced in November 2018, along with the release of the Guilds of Ravnica set. It had five varieties featuring the following five guilds:

Rising Tensions: RNA was introduced in March 2019, along with the release of the Ravnica Allegiance set. It had five varieties featuring the five remaining guilds:

- The Simic Combine ()
- Azorius Senate ()
