The Colossal Tussle is a Legacy PvP event introduced in May 2020 along with Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths. It changed from Standard to Legacy in October 2021 (v5.2).
The event has an entry fee of 30 Mana Crystals.
TCT has a schedule that eases start time, play time, and finish time. The three nodes recharge once, at 11:30 UTC; 23.5 hours after the event starts. They accumulate three charges per node, instead of the usual one. The charge maximum is six. TCT was one of the first events to use it, and was probably the originator of it. Colors of Magic followed, and update 6.1.0 implemented it as the schedule for all Standard Coalition events.
The initial charges plus the charges added does not exceed the maximum, therefore no charges can be lost.
The maximum number of Ribbons that can be obtained on each node is ten, for a grand total of 180 possible (10 Ribbons x 3 nodes x 6 charges).
Mutate creatures must be cast to satisfy the Evolution objective of the first node. Of the 65 Mutate creatures available, 64 are from IKO and one is a M21 Masterpiece.
