- Game rewards for completing a game, including ribbons () which count towards earning Event rewards, and runes ().

Game rewards
Completing a game results in an immediate game reward. Game rewards are the same for all players.
Ribbons
Winning a game awards ribbons (). Further ribbons can be gained by achieving secondary Objectives along with the win. Accumulating ribbons is the key to earning the more major Event rewards (progression or ranking).
Runes
Winning a game also awards some amount of mana runes (), usually around 200 , but sometimes lower or higher (up to 1,200 in some events). Losing a game without quitting earns a consolation reward of 50 .
Other
In most events, game rewards include only Ribbons and Runes. However, in a few events, other game rewards can be earned, including cards, or other currency such as mana jewels ().
Event rewards
Event rewards are the major type of rewards in the game. They're earned by accumulating ribbons () from winning games. The more ribbons you gain, the greater the rewards you can earn. These rewards typically include resources — runes (), crystals (), or jewels () — or Card packs, often from a Card set related to the theme of the event.
Event rewards are different for players in different mastery tiers. Platinum tier players have a larger reward pool than Gold tier players, whose rewards are larger in turn than Silver and Bronze.
Not all event reward types are offered in all events. For example, some Events provide Progression rewards only, while others provide Progression, Placement, and Coalition rewards. In addition, the amount of rewards can vary significantly between events. Some events yield high rewards for low effort, while other events provide more modest rewards for larger effort.
Progression rewards
When playing in an event with Progression rewards, your total ribbon count is compared with a table of rewards after each game. Progression rewards depend only on your personal progress. When your ribbons total exceeds the next progression reward threshold, you earn that reward.
Earning all progression rewards in an event is called "reaching progression".
Placement rewards
At the end of an event with Placement rewards, your ribbon total is ranked against the ribbon total of each other player in the same mastery tier and event bracket as you. You then earn Placement rewards depending on your ranking. Rewards for a very ranking (such as rank 1-5, or 6-25) are typically much higher than rewards for lower ranking (such as rank 251-500). Tied players earn the same rewards, no matter how many players are tied.
Coalition rewards
Coalition rewards are similar to Placement rewards, but rather than ranking you on your individual ribbon count, all ribbons earned by yourself and all of your teammates are used to rank your coalition against other coalitions. Being in an active coalition with competitive teammates is a good way of earning more coalition rewards. Coalition Events, awarding Coalition rewards, are typically run once per week, usually over the weekend.
Winning side rewards
Duel Decks events feature two sides battling for supremacy. Players can choose which side to join, but only one side will win. Each player in the winning side earns a pre-determined set of rewards. Players in the losing side are also rewarded, but with a lesser prize.
